In the survey, 47% of respondents indicated that one reason
they sometimes didn't follow international news was that it
seems like the same news all the time, nothing ever really changes.
(They could cite as many of the four reasons as they felt applied
to them).
However, more people said they sometimes did not follow news
from around the world because they lacked the background information
to understand it.
