This account also revitalizes old reviews from (now defunct but still navigable) Reading Rants – a website featuring out of the ordinary booklists for teens.
The Lincoln Award nominees is a list of 20 high-quality, high-interest books selected by a committee of Illinois high school librarians, teachers, public librarians, and students. Students who read 4 or more titles from this list are eligible to vote for their favorite.
