Literary criticism is the evaluation of a work, such as a novel or short story, which provides an analysis, interpretation, discussion, and assessment of the work.
What Should I Look for in Literary Criticism?
- The author of the criticism and his or her credentials
- The publication in which the criticism is written
- Evidence to support conclusions reached in the criticism
