Connect to New Titles List via WordPress CMS
Description
The New Titles List is an interface that enables a user to generate either an html view or a RSS Feed of newly acquired materials that meet user-selected criteria.
When is this service available
The New Titles List is normally available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Priority level for this service
Maintaining the New Titles Service is a low priority for Library IT. Changes, bug fixes, or other issues are addressed during normal Library IT business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.) as time permits. If New Titles cannot be accessed or is returning errors indicating the database is down, most likely a critical infrastructure service such as the Library IT SQL Server or Library IT primary web server is needs attention; fixing the underlying server issues will restore service to New Titles.
How to report a problem
If you believe there is an error with the one or more feeds please log a ticket with the IT Help Desk. In the ticket describe if you were using the html interface or a RSS feed. Include what the error is and some examples of what is going wrong. Also if possible include a description of what should be present.
For example, if you believe that one of your locations is not being included in the feed for your unit, give the rss feed for your unit. Then include a brief description of a few recently acquired titles that do not appear, including their item IDs.
Who can use this service
Users around the world have ready access to the New Titles List.
