Biographical Sources
The Ukrainians have produced a number of biographical dictionaries for professors and scholars from various institutions or disciplines. Only some of them have been annotated below.
This section includes mostly biographical dictionaries or sets that are not covered in the Russian biographical archive, which may be helpful for locating biographical data on Ukrainians and Belorussians in addition to Russians. Those few that are both in the RBA and included here are of particular significance and are noted as such.

Entries provide basic biographical data including career highlights and areas of research interest. Mention is given to special awards that the faculty member may have won. Unfortunately, there are no bibliographical references, but the entries do give a sum total of published works for each person. See the rather brief entry on the left for Valentin Stepanovich Kocho.
