The Scholarly Commons has five scanners available to patrons for their digitization needs. All scanners require University login credentials except the KIC BookEye.
Plustek Opticbook Flatbed Scanner
Scans up to 12 by 17 inches
Best for: Portions of newer books, photographs, and flat documents
KIC BookEye Scanner
Scans up to 24.4 by 18 inches
Best for: Entire books, especially older ones, and fragile documents
Epson Perfection Flatbed Scanner
Scans up to 8.5 by 11.17 inches
Best for: Photographs, flat documents, slides, film, and photo negatives.
Epson WorkForce Sheet Feed Scanner
Scans up to 8.5 by 11.7 inches
Best for: Scanning large numbers of newer, flat documents efficiently
