Materials from the English Library and Modern Language and Linguistics Library that are being transferred into the new Literatures and Languages Library will be converted into the Library of Congress (LC) Classification. The new library will open on January 18, 2011.
The Literatures and Languages Library joins the Music and Performing Arts Library, the Asian Library, and the Law Library in making use of the LC classification for its materials. For information on reading LC call numbers, please see the Library of Congress Classification Outline and the Learn to Read a Library of Congress Number guide. For more information on our decision to introduce the LC classification to the new library, please see Library of Congress Classification Conversion for the Literatures and Languages Library: Background and Benefits .
Where are the books? How to find materials during the transition to the Literatures and Languages Library
We will experience a transition period as materials are converted into the LC Classification and transferred into the new Literatures and Languages Library. We will strive to make the materials as accessible as possible to patrons throughout the process. Location: Literatures & Languages
Call Number: GR550 .F284 2009
