Purchase included 50 titles of sheet music (songs and solo piano music), one binder’s volume of sheet music, and the following book, with signature of author (a music critic, Cape Town): Beatrice Marx, She shall have music: the memoirs of Beatrice Marx (Cape Town, South Africa: [1961]) [780.923 M369s]
Arrangement
Presumably individual items have been incorporated into vocal and piano sequences of American sheet music holdings, and binder’s volume shelved with similar volumes in Special Collections. Beatrice Marx book is shelved in circulating books stacks by shelf number.

Collections File folder (“Vaky, James”) Includes complete list of individual sheet music titles (see below) (titles checked in red; items checked in black were presumably already held by the Music Library and not acquired from Vaky). The folder also includes a letter of acknowledgement from Music Librarian William McClellan to Vaky, and a photocopy of a recital program by Frederic Stiven dedicating the Lloyde Memorial Organ at the First Baptist Church, Champaign (12 February 1926); the program has an annotation by Vaky that he attended the recital as a young man.
