Happy March! New titles have been added to the IDNC and are now freely available to search and browse. The newest batch ingest includes titles digitized through the National Digital Newspaper Program (NDNP) 2022 grant as well as newspapers digitized through a deal with Newspapers.com.

- The Citizen has a recurring column written in Irish Gaelic, typically devoted to “Gaelic Poetry,” “Gaelic Folk-Lore,” or “Sgeulta Fiannaigheachta” (Fairytales). These columns are usually printed on page 2 or page 5, though the location varies and is sometimes on different pages. Not only is this the first paper in the IDNC with printed Irish, this is the first newspaper in Chronicling America, the national digital newspaper database hosted by the Library of Congress, that features Irish Gaelic!
- The Greek Star is the first paper with Greek in the IDNC!
- The Chanute Field Wings papers (1941-1943 and 1945-1948) were published by the Chanute Air Force Base in Rantoul, Ill.
