Purpose
The introduction of food and drink to Library facilities poses a threat to Library collections.
Policy
Food is prohibited in the History, Philosophy, and Newspaper Library (HPNL). Non-alcoholic drinks are permitted in spill-proof, covered, plastic or metal containers. Patrons using the HPNL’s print newspaper collections are prohibited from eating food or drinking beverages while using print newspapers.
