Bicycle and Pedestrian Program: This is an initiative of the Federal Highway Administration and includes information about federal grants and legislation supporting non-motorized transportation, as well as contact information for bicycle and pedestrian coordinators in each state.
Traffic Safety: Bicycles: The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration links to consumer education videos, surveys of laws on bicycle and pedestrian safety, U.S. Department of Transportation research on bicycle safety, and many other resources.
National Bike Month: This site from the League of American Bicyclists is the official site for National Bike Month. Contains a calendar of events and many ideas for activities and publicity.

National Trails System Map and Guide: This link offers historical information about trails in America, as well as contact information for various locations, pdf files of maps, charts, and graphs, and other links to related information.
