For Students
Are you working on a research paper, thesis, or group project related to global studies? A consultation with the Global Studies Librarian can help you refine your topic, identify and access relevant resources, and develop effective research strategies. How to Schedule a Consultation
Scheduling a research consultation is simple. Appointments are available in person, via Zoom, or by phone to accommodate your preferences and needs. To request a consultation, please fill out our Research Consultation Request Form or email Steve Witt directly at switt@illinois.edu. In your request, include a brief description of your project or research needs, and feel free to mention specific topics, regions, or challenges you’d like to discuss.
We encourage you to book your consultation early, especially during peak research periods, to ensure adequate time to address your needs. The International and Area Studies Library is committed to supporting your success and providing the resources and expertise you need to excel in global studies.
