Student Assistants (Undergraduates) Needed
Duties: Assist patrons at IAS service desk by checking items in and out; using Alma Circulation; provide guidance in finding and use of IAS Library serials and reference materials; finding library materials in the online catalog; assisting in the use of scanners, printers, microfilm, and microfiche readers; shelving library materials, and keeping statistics of patron activity.
Required:
- Strong desire to assist library users.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a multicultural environment.
- Strong English language skills
- Customer service skills
- Attention to detail.
- Reliability
Preferred:
- Knowledge of one or more foreign languages
- Previous library experience
Compensation: $15 per hour
