LibAnswers
The best first place to go for library policy and campus-wide information. LibAnswers is a searchable database full of miscellaneous library information and is frequently updated by the Reference and Information Services (RIS) Department. Information includes printing and faxing details as well as how to find out which computer labs offer obscure software.

Network Access for Library Visitors

Using Technology Services’ VPN
Technology Services’ VPN is used to create a secure connection between your computer and the campus network. By downloading and logging into the VPN, you “trick” the network into thinking you are on campus and will not need to login to the proxy server every time you want to use a library resource.

Central Access Services

Oak Street Facility (high density storage)
The Oak Street Facility is an off-site storage facility for a large bulk of the University Library’s collection. Patrons cannot get items from Oak Street themselves, but they can request items through the library catalog and have them sent to any library on campus.
The Card Catalog
Although fewer and fewer people use the physical card catalog, some research requires it. The Serial Record and Thesis File cards are located in the Information Desk/Circulation area of the second floor of the Main Library. Click the link for more details and instructions on how to use it.

Training & Access for WordPress
WordPress Essentials Training
WordPress Essentials training is a 60 minute training session hosted by members of the Web Team. This session gives users basic knowledge of WordPress functionality, so they can be ready to edit their sites after the migration. Attendance to this training is required to gain access to your new WordPress site.
